PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient and safely usable sun visor by mutually connecting a plate-like first body part and second body part having long edge parts and short edge parts in the one-side short edge parts in such a manner as to be openable and closable, and providing an arm part for connecting one long edge part to a vehicle body to mount both the body parts in the rotatable state. SOLUTION: This sun visor 1 is formed of a substantially rectangular first body part 3 having long edge parts 3a, 3a and short edge parts 3b, 3b and a second body part 4 of substantially the same form having long edge parts 4a, 4b and short edge parts 4b, 4b. Connecting parts 5, 5 are arranged between one short edge part 3b of the first body part 3 and one short edge part 4b of the second body part 4. The first body part 3 has a substantially L-shaped arm part 6 having a mounting part 7 extended sideward from the upper long edge 3a and fitted to the ceiling part of a vehicle body. The connecting parts 5, 5 connect the first body part 3 to the second body part 4 in the openable and closable state, and the arm part 6 connects the body 2 to the vehicle body so as to be rotatable.
