PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent total throughput from lowering due to run out of sheet. SOLUTION: The print processor comprises a section 6 for analyzing a received data, a section 7 for selecting a sheet based on the image data, a section 8 for holding the residual quantity of sheet in each sheet feed tray, a residual quantity judging section 10 for comparing the residual quantity of sheet with a preset reference value, a rotation judging section 12 for checking presence of sheet for delivering a print data through rotation of the image data by 90 deg. if the residual quantity of selected sheet is not sufficient, a section 11 for developing a bit map print data of longitudinal and lateral directions if the quantity of sheet is sufficient, and an image selecting section 13 for checking the residual quantity of sheet corresponding to two types of print data upon receiving a transfer request and outputting any one type of print data according to the results of check.
