PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a 2-pyridylsilane derivative capable of easily being purified. SOLUTION: A 2-pyridylsilane derivative of formula I (wherein, R1 and R2 are each an alkyl group, or the like; R3-R6 are each H, a halogen, an alkyl group, or the like; R7 is ethyl group or vinyl one which may have a substituent at their 2-position) is produced by reacting a 2-pyridylsilane compound of formula II with 1-alkenes or 1-alkynes in the presence of a transition metal complex catalyst. |
