PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject agent easily usable, enabling lasting animal- repelling effect without using a reflected light or an explosion sound by including a specific volatile animal repellent, a spice-containing repellent, a solvent, etc. SOLUTION: This agent is obtained by including (A) a volatile animal repellent having a sulfur-containing terpene (pref. thiogeraniol or the like) or 6- to 8-membered heterocyclic compound with S and O as cycle members (pref. 2-methyl-4-propyl-1,3-oxathiane) as an active ingredient, (B) a spice-containing repellent such as a naringin, (C) a solvent such as ethyl alcohol, and (D) a resinous component soluble in the component C (e.g. a terpenephenol copolymer). This agent is useful in prevention of nuisance due to droppings from birds and beasts at the stations, residential quarters or the buildings as well as prevention of animal injuries at garbage accumulation yards, etc.
