PURPOSE: A polycarbonate blend composition with a good balance of high impact resistance, moldability, and controllable gloss with reduced tendencies of pearlescence or delamination in molded articles is prepared. CONSTITUTION: A polycarbonate blend composition comprises: (a) a polycarbonate in an amount from 40 to 96 parts by weight; (b) a substantially linear ethylene polymer or a linear ethylene polymer in an amount from 1 to 50 parts by weight, which has: (i) a density of less than 0.93 g/cm¬3, (ii) a molecular weight distribution, Mw/Mn, of less than 3.0 and (iii) a Composition Distribution Branch Index of greater than 50 percent; (c) an olefinic epoxide-containing copolymer in an amount from 0.5 to 10 parts by weight; and (d) a polyester in an amount from 0.5 to 40 parts by weight; said parts by weight being based on 100 weight parts components (a), (b), (c), and (d).
