METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRINTING OF INK JET PRINTER

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for printing of an ink jet printer are provided to improve the printing speed by simultaneously printing the color and black-and-white printing and minimize the ink jet printer by reducing a whole width of the printer to a length twice of a width of a printer head. CONSTITUTION: A method for printing of an ink jet printer includes the steps of conveying printing media(40) from a media stacking part(34) to a printing area, conveying a color image forming element(C) and a mono image forming element(M) stacked at least two rows to a media printing area in the media conveying direction for color and black-and-white printing, and performing the printing operation by conveying the color image forming element perpendicularly to the mono image forming element.
