<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a write head for magnetic display media which is small- sized, can be manufactured at low cost, and points a vertical magnetic field by drawing a shield member into a recessed shape and fitting it in the hole of a head cover. SOLUTION: The shield member 4 which is so drawn that a nonmagnetic or diamagnetic head cover 3 of a ductile material can be installed between the head cover 3 and the tip 1a of a magnetic core body 1 is fitted in the hole 6 of the head cover 3. Thus, the head cover 3 with magnetic shield effect and the shield member 4 with magnetic shield effect are united together and then shield members 4 are fixed on both the sides of the tip 1a of the magnetic core body 1. Consequently, the man-hour for setting three bodies, i.e., a shield plate, a magnetic core body, and a head cover before can be simplified and the variance of the setting is reducible, so the write head for magnetic display media which has high print quality and is inexpensive is obtained.</p> |
