A high sodium ion conducting inorganic composite solid electrolyte obtained by mixing Na4Zr2Si3O12 with titanium oxide and sintering the resultant mixture and a method for the production of a high sodium ion conducting inorganic composite solid electrolyte, consisting essentially of the steps of mixing Na4Zr2Si3O12 with titanium oxide and sintering the resultant mixture.
