Tie bolt (1) with metal internally threaded and partially slotted sleeve with expansion arms The tie bolt comprises a metal sleeve (2) which holds a screw and has a continuous initially cylindrical through-hole (3). The subsequent part of the metal sleeve tapers towards the front expansion end. An expansion body (5) is driven into the bore-hole for splaying out the tie bolt (1). The metal sleeve is punched out of a sheet metal plate, rolled up to form a sleeve, and joined. The expansion arms (7) have an inward bent first part (7a) with an outer surface around which is bent a second part (7b). The two superimposed parts are tightly joined by a stamping point (9).
