PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively extinguish fire from an apparatus which is a source of heat and an equipment which generates high voltage by using a fire extinguishing housing provided on its inner face with a fireproofing expansible sheet as a housing for storing these apparatuses. SOLUTION: On part of the inner face of a housing 2 of a television receiver 1 corresponding to an apparatus which could be a source of heat and an apparatus which generates high voltage, a fireproofing expansible sheet 5 is disposed. The fireproofing expansible sheet 5 is made of a resin composition comprising thermoplastic resin using polyethylene resin such as a homopolymer of ethylene and a copolymer of ethylene andα-olefin, synthetic rubber such as butyl rubber, thermal expansible graphite is a graphite intercalation compound made by treating the powder of neutralized pyrolytic graphite, etc., with a storing oxidant such as concentrated sulfuric acid, and an organic filler. With such a fireproofing expansible sheet, fire from the apparatuses can be effectively extinguished without requiring much space.
