PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the reflection, ensure the stable distance or position with a light source to an impact or shock, and provide an emitted light free from spot. SOLUTION: This flat lighting system 1 is provided with a light source 15; a light guide plate 2A consisting of an incident end surface part 3 for introducing the light from the light source 15, a reflecting end surface part 4 located in the opposite side to the incident end surface part 3, side surface parts 5 continuously connected to both ends of the incident end surface part 3 and the reflecting end surface part 4, a surface part 6 for emitting the light introduced from the incident end surface part 3, and a reverse surface part 7 located on the opposite side to the surface part 6; a reflector 17 provided on the lower part of the reverse part 7; and a case 14 for housing the light source 15, the light guide plate 2A and the reflector 17. The side surface part 5 of the light guide plate 2A has a protruding surface 9 protruded outward larger than the side surface part 5-directional width of the incident end surface part 3 in a position having a prescribed distance from the end part of the incident end surface part 3, and an inclined side surface 8 is formed between the end part of the protruding surface 9 and the reflecting end surface part 4. The case 14 has a projection 12 inside of the position corresponding to the above-mentioned prescribed distance. |
