SOLUTION: When a document on a document tray A is moved from a document paper feed part B to a document carrying part C by the operation of a motor M3 and carried to a prescribed position of a platen 10 by a carrying belt 11, the read is performed by a document read part 30. After the read is ended, the document is carried to the right and introduced to a reversing discharge part D through a jump base 15. At this time, a deflecting plate 16 is in the actual line position by a solenoid SL2, and the document is introduced into a path between the document deflecting plate 16 and a guide 17, nipped and carried by a reversing roller 19 and a roller 20, and discharged to a document discharge and stacking part E through a guide seat 24.
