PURPOSE: A window type air conditioner is provided to reduce noise due to air flow and prevent leakage of the air outside by changing the shape of an air guide, which forms an air channel of circulation air in the air conditioner, for smoothly flowing the air, thereby improving the performance of the window type air conditioner. CONSTITUTION: A window type air conditioner includes an air guide(101) coupled with an indoor heat exchanger(5), an orifice(102) formed with a discharge hole(102a) for guiding room air passed through the indoor heat exchanger and discharging room air outside of the air guide, and a scroll(103) for forming an air channel between the air guide and the orifice for the room air guided by the orifice and shutting off heat exchange between the room air with ambient air, wherein the scroll is made of styrofoam.
