PURPOSE: A method for testing an integrated service digital network(ISDN) subscriber board in an exchange is provided to increase test reliability, by testing whether a D-channel is normal in the ISDN subscriber board through predetermined detailed processes to easily identify failures of the processes. CONSTITUTION: A method for testing an integrated service digital network(ISDN) subscriber board in an exchange, comprises the steps of: making an ISDN tester request allocations of terminal endpoint identifiers(TEIs) for each terminal to the ISDN subscriber board, when a U-line is activated between the ISDN tester and the ISDN subscriber board; making the ISDN tester decide whether the TEIs are normally allocated; making the ISDN tester retransmit the allocated TEIs to identify whether a data line is connected; and making the ISDN tester decide whether a response signal for the connected data link is normal.
