PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a wooden container which is excellently capable of keeping freshness of contents, which has natural warmth and feel, and which is not likely to generate poisonous substances at the time of incineration for disposal after use. SOLUTION: A dish-shaped container C1 is formed of butt boards with active water containing a ferrous salt or ferric salt impregnated, which are laminated. Respective butt boards 5, 6, 7, 8 are laminated with their directions of fibers 4 intersected sequentially and stuck to one another via an adhesive.
