POWER GENERATING SET HAVING FLOW RATE MEASURING FUNCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate power and measure a flow rate with one device by arranging an impeller rotated with flow of a fluid, means for converting rotational energy of the impeller into electric energy, and means for calculating a flow rate of the fluid on the basis of a signal from the energy converting means. SOLUTION: A control apparatus 2 and an impeller 3 are disposed in a flow path 1. An energy converting means 4 is disposed around the impeller 3 to convert rotational energy of the impeller 3 into electric energy. Flow rate calculating means 6 is connected to the energy converting means 4 through a pair of electric signal lines 5. A calculated flow rate data is supplied to the control apparatus 2 through the electric signal line 7. A condensing means 9 and the control apparatus 2 are connected to the flow rate calculating means 6 through a pair of electric signal line 8. Electric energy is accumulated from the energy converting means 4 to the condensing means 9, and is supplied from the condensing means 9 to the control apparatus 2 according to need.
