The composter for organic residues comprises a set of two or more horizontal rotary cylinders (1) with a residue inputter (3). The system also contains agitators, breather valves and drainage devices. Retainers prevent rotation of the cylinders during the inputting. Product agitators, and an evaporation assembly evacuating condensate, are also fitted.
