PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double feeding preventing rubber member which is simple in manufacturing process and capable of effectively preventing plural number of paper sheets from being carried, while being piled up. SOLUTION: This double feeding preventing rubber member has a grain pattern formed out of a land part 11 laid along a tabular surface, and of a sea part 12 recessed deeper than the land part 11, formed over at least a portion coming in contact with each form out of the tabular surface, and its occupancy factor R indicated by equation: R(%)=(X+0.5Y)×100/400 of the land part 11 is 20 to 80%. The double feeding preventing rubber member is preferably formed through vulcanization using a metal mold in the internal surface, of which the grain pattern is formed up. (in the equation, when an area of 100 mm2 in the surface of the rubber member in the picture enlarged by 20 times, is divided into 400 small square areas S(S1, S2 and S3), X represents the number of the small square areas which fall entirely in land part, and Y represents the number of the small square areas mixedly falling in the land and sea parts).
