The vacuum cleaner comprises a suction mouth (6), a metal floor (5) surrounding the suction mouth (6), and a suction pipe (7), whereby an electrostatic charging of parts of the vacuum cleaner is provided for the support of the dust suction. The metal floor is electrostatically charged by means of a separate generator (8) arranged in the vacuum cleaner.
