摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stable electrophotographic photoreceptor, a stable electrophotographic method and a stable electrophotographic device which do not cause the lowering of electrification ability and the rise of residual potential even by repetitive use without losing high sensitivity, and to obtain a process cartridge for the electrophotographic device. SOLUTION: A photosensitive layer formed by laminating an electric charge generating layer 35 containing at least an organic pigment and an electric charge transferring layer 37 is disposed on an electrically conductive substrate 31 to obtain the objective electrophotographic photoreceptor. The steam permeability of the electric charge transferring layer 37 is <=100 g.m-2.day-1 and the average particle size of the organic pigment contained in the electric charge generating layer 35 is <0.5μm. The organic pigment is preferably titanyl phthalocyanine having the highest diffraction peak of Bragg angle 2θto at least characteristic X-rays (1.514Åwavelength) of CuKαin the range of 27.2+0.2 deg..
