PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying and machining jig for a part such that simplification of work, shortening of a working time, in its turn, improvement of work efficiency, and reduction of cost of the part can be attained, in a manufacture process of the part of piston or the like for an engine. SOLUTION: A rack for surface treatment used for performing the surface treatment of a plurality of parts 3 holding a plurality of the machined parts (for instance, piston 3 for engine) is divided into a part holding rack part 1 holding a plurality of the parts 3 in a fixed condition and a hoisting part 2 suspending the part holding rack part 1. The part holding rack part 1 is concurrently used as a conveying rack during the space from a machining site of the part 3 to a surface treatment work site.
