PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arabesque pattern of an eaves edge which can securely prevent rainwater blowing against the arabesque pattern from penetrating in the inside and is provided with a waterproof structure protecting from penetration of waterdrops caused by dew condensation and further, which is insusceptible of an unfavorable influence of wind and excellent in the appearance and the engaging condition with roof boards. SOLUTION: The arabesque pattern 1 of an eaves edge fitted to the edge of eaves of a thatched roof fixed to sheathing roof boards (20) while connecting roof boards is provided with a support base part 2 brought into contact with the sheathing roof board (20) side, a rising part 3 formed by erecting one end side of the support base part 2, an engaging part 6 with the roof boards provided at the upper side of the rising part 3, and a wallface 5 hanging down through a projection 4 protruded forward from a specified position of the rising part 3.
