PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a car audio adaptor for external device connection by connecting the adaptor to a speaker cord attached to a head unit so as to use the adaptor equally for an output terminal (a pre-out terminal). SOLUTION: The car audio adaptor is used to connect external devices 26, 27, 28 to speaker cords 3, 4, 5, 6 of the car audio system. In this case, the car audio adaptor 25 is provided with a connection means to be connected to the speaker cords 8, 4, 5, 6 and with a level conversion circuit that converts a signal for a device being a load to 1st impedance to a signal for an eternal device being a load to 2nd impedance.
