<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the service life of a tuyere by controlling to suitable cooling condition according to the condition of blown-refining. SOLUTION: In a bottom-blown tuyere, in which gas for stirring and gas for cooling the tuyere are supplied through mutually approached and independent flow paths, the gas flowing rate is controlled so that a parameter A shown in the equation becomes 0.07-0.50. In the equation, C is the sp. heat of gas (Kcal/ m2/K), Q is the flowing rate of gas (Nm3/s), (q) is the effective reaction heat (Kcal/Nm3) and (i) and (j) of lower attached characters show the kinds of gas and (i) is the gas for stirring and (j) is the gas for cooling. Further, (n) is stirring conversion factor, TEP is the target temp. at the blowing-off time ( deg.C) and TME is the solidus temp. of molten steel as the developing temp. of blowing-off mushroom ( deg.C).</p> |
