PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attraction adjusting method for a solenoid capable of adjusting an attraction to a movable member without increasing the number of components. SOLUTION: In an attraction adjusting method for a solenoid 2, equipped with a yoke 4 forming a magnetic circuit by energization of an electromagnetic coil 6 and a plunger 8 placed inside the yoke 4 and operated by attraction, and controlling magnetic attraction by adjusting a clearance C1 between the yoke 4 and the plunger 8, the clearance C1 is adjusted by applying an external force to the yoke 4 and plastically deforming it after placing the plunger 8 inside the yoke 4.
