PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint packing eliminating wastefulness of insertingly joining with excessive joining force by selecting a rodlike body with suitable hardness. SOLUTION: The pipe joint packing is provided between a socket 31 and a spigot 21, a lip part 12 pressure contacted to an inner surface of the socket 31 by a pipe internal pressure is provided to an outer surface of an annular base body part 11 fixed to the spigot 21, a hollow part 13 is provided inside the base body part 11, and a rodlike body 14 made of an elastic body is inserted into the hollow part 13.
