PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and efficiently punch and form a long flat plate-like specimen in a short period of time from a thick sheet material. SOLUTION: This specimen punching equipment is formed of a slide base 12 slidably (in back and forth) disposed on a base 1, a rotary base 20 horizontally and rotatably disposed on the slide base 12, clamp mechanisms 26, 27 for fixing and holding a sheet material S on the rotary base 20, and a cutter 50 located above the rotary base 20, installed on the base 1, and punching the sheet material S. The cutter 50 has an elevating cylinder 51 having a downwardly expandable cylinder rod 51a fixed to the base 1, and a thin blade- like punching blade installed on the cylinder rod at its lower end and extended in the longitudinal direction.
