PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the bearing strength even though the arranged position of steel plate is out-of-plane of a beam by arranging ribbed members longitudinally at predetermined intervals in lateral direction between beams or slabs, fixing in multi-step earthquake-resistant reinforcing steel plates between the ribbed members, thereby providing a shape keeping a sufficient rigidity. SOLUTION: Ribbed members 12 comprising T-shaped CT member are attached to a wall surface 2 in a state of longitudinal application. Next, both side portions of a reinforcing steel plate 10 are welded to the flange of the ribbed members 12 and fixed in multi-level. And a long-sized bolt 18 is inserted to a reinforcing steel plate 10 at the lowest portion installed on a slab 6 and is coupled to a receiving member 20 fixed to the wall surface at a lower story. Thus, they are assembled to a three-dimensional shape by the webs of the ribbed members 2 and the flange of each reinforcing steel plate 10, thereby giving rigidity and improving the buckling- strength. In this way, a higher earthquake-resistant effect can be obtained permitting to suppress disturbance to the occupancy and business activities to a minimum in a building as an earthquake-resistant reinforcing target.
