PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unsaturated polyester resin composition which can give e.g. a molded article having excellent ozone resistance on a level comparable to those of molded articles of conventional unsaturated polyester resins made from HET acid and which hardly causes an environmental problem, and its molded article. SOLUTION: This unsaturated polyester resin composition contains (A) 20-80 pts.wt. unsaturated polyester comprising a product of polycondensation of acid components comprising essentially an alicyclic saturated polybasic acid and an aliphatic unsaturated polybasic acid with a polyhydric alcohol, (B) 5-40 pts.wt. (meth)acrylic ester, and (C) 10-40 pts.wt. styrene, with the total of components A, B and C being 100 pts.wt. The molded article is obtained by molding and curing the resin composition.
