METHOD FOR REMODELING ELEVATOR DOOR OPENING AND CLOSING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an elevator operable during a remodeling work every floor of working process by mounting a remodeling work door lock device engageable with a new car-side door opening and closing device after remodeling and lockable with a floor-side locking piece. SOLUTION: The difference between the distance A from the left end of an existing floor-side door 1 to the engagement position of an existing car-side door and the distance from it to the engagement position of a new car-side door corresponds to the slippage of engagement position. Thus, an existing floor-side door lock device 11 is changed to a floor-side remodeled door lock device having an upper engagement roller 11a and lower engagement roller 11b having different roller diameters. The mounting position onto the existing floor-side door 1 is set to the same as the existing floor-side door lock device 11 so that the existing floor-side door 1 satisfies the locking and unlocking. Since the engagement positions of the existing and new floor-side door opening and closing devices are coincident in this case, the elevator can be usually operated even if the existing and new floor-side door opening and closing devices are included.
