PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt conveying device and an image forming device having an excellent reliability capable of facilitating an attachment/detachment of a belt and stabilizing a traveling of the belt. SOLUTION: Upper portions of U-shaped apertures 22a, 22b, 23a, 23b are vertically provided at an approximately equal distance and lower portions thereof are made to a circle having a diameter D. The lower circular portion of the diameter D functions as a shaft bore portion of turnably supporting a roller shaft and the upper portion functions as a guiding bore for atttachably/ detachably guiding the roller shaft. Gears 25, 25' having the same diameter are fixed and disposed on both ends of a drive roller 16 and a rotation of a drive shaft 26 is transmitted to the drive roller 16. The drive roller 16 is constituted such that it is always urged to a downward direction of a slide surface of a bearing 24 at the time of driving the driving roller 16.
