PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a cost by reducing the number of components and to reduce a relative harmonic content in an input current supplied to a luminaire, in the luminaire allowing individual lighting control of plural lamp loads by use of plural lighting circuit systems. SOLUTION: In this luminaire, a lighting circuit 20 wherein an active chopper is used as an input current distortion improvement means 3 is combined with a lighting circuit 21 wherein a switching element of a DC/AC converting part B2 also serves as a switching element of an input current distortion improvement means 3'. A fluorescent lamp 22 lighted by the lighting circuit 20 has a larger rated electric power than a fluorescent lamp 23 lighted by the lighting circuit 21. An effective value of an input current I1 of the lighting circuit 20 is regulated to a larger value than an effective value of an input current I2 of the lighting circuit 21, while a synthesized current Iall of the input currents I1, I2 has a current waveform close to a sine wave. |
