TACK LABEL AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a tack label which has partially non-adhesive and weakly adhesive portions and does not impair the clear feel of a transparent base material. SOLUTION: The process for producing the tack label includes a masking layer forming stage for forming a UV curing type non-tacky adhesive masking layer for partially covering the adhesive layer of an adhesive film provided with the adhesive layer on one surface of the transparent label base material on this adhesive layer, a release paper laminating stage for press bonding and laminating the UV transmittable release paper on the adhesive layer via the masking layer and a masking layer curing stage for curing the masking layer by irradiating the laminated film obtained in the release paper laminating stage with UV rays. The tack label laminated with the UV curing type non-tacky adhesive masking layer in the state of a smooth surface can be obtained by this method.
