PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection method and an inspection device for a rotor which enable reduction in the time required for inspection work, while assuring the security of inspection. SOLUTION: An inspection method of a rotor, which inspects a rotor S having a non-magnetized cylindrical magnetic unit 1, a pair of rotary shafts protruding from both the ends of the magnetic unit 1 and an operating part 5 provided on the magnetic unit 1, is such that the rotor S is placed in a magnetic field D, and after the easy-to-magnetize direction of the magnetic unit 1 is made to coincide with the direction of the magnetic field D, the swinging amplitude of the operating part 5 in a direction which is perpendicular to the magnetic field D and from a reference axis B which extends in a direction perpendicular to a center axis L of the magnetic unit 1 is measured. |
