PURPOSE: A molding apparatus for molding a greensand is provided to obtain a compressive mold of casting sand without using an expensive hydraulic device in a compressing device and to have the high producing efficiency to be able to avoid a vibrating electronic wave into a floor. CONSTITUTION: An automatic molding apparatus for molding a greensand is fixed many damping air springs(5) on a base(4) and is fixed a lower frame(3) on the vibrating air springs(5). A lock-typed elevating cylinder device(25) is fixed in the lower frame(3). An elevating table(23) installed a mold(b) injected a casting sand is elevated between a upper compressive molding position and a lower certain position. A vibrating head(11) is suspended by passing an elevating frame of head. An elevating device to elevate the vibrating head(11) is installed and is elevated between an optimum position to separate a compressive plate from the mold(b) by shrinking a compressive air spring(12) and a falling position to compress the casting sand by expanding the air spring(12). The casting sand of the mold(b) is compressively molded by a vibration transferred the compressive force with the expansion of the compressive air spring(12) and the vibrating force of a vibrating motor or from the upper frame to a pattern(c) by passing the lower frame(3), the elevating cylinder(25) and the elevating table(23).
