PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate production and handling such as fitting by forming through holes conforming to a drain neck part on the right and left of a notch part formed on one side of a sheet-shaped material in a tank drain part cover suitable as a cover for preventing the scattering of a chemical liquid used in a shoulder power sprayer and the like. SOLUTION: In a cover (a) for preventing the scattering of a chemical liquid, a soft plastic sheet such as an approximately square soft polyvinyl chloride sheet is used as a sheet-shaped material 1, and a slit-shaped notch part 2 extending in the longitudinal direction is formed in the approximately middle part of one side of the sheet. Through holes 3a, 3b of diameters conforming to the neck part of the drain of a chemical liquid tank are formed at the right and left positions of the notch part 2. Sides 1a, 1b on one side in which the notch part 2 is formed are formed in an arc shape. The cover (a) is made to conform to the drain neck part with the holes 3a, 3b laid to overlap each other so that the scattering of cleaning water, and like, in the tank to the engine side is prevented.
