PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify assembling by providing an inside flange surrounding the outside of a support member in close contact on a seal bellows edge section on the ball pin side, and closely sticking an extension section located in the bellows of the support member to the ball pin. SOLUTION: A seal bellows edge section 8 on the ball pin 3 side has a surrounding inside flange 15, the flange 15 is closely stuck to the outside of a support member 12 arranged on the ball pin 3, and the edge section 8 is fixed by a fastening ring 11. The support member 12 has a stop lug 13 to prevent the axial drift of the edge section 8 in the direction of a ball head 2. The support member 12 is also has an extension section 14 in seal bellows 7, and the extension section 14 seals the ball pin 3 in close contact with it to protect it from a corrosive medium. When the seal bellows 7 are assembled or removed for repair, the ball pin 3 is prevented from being striped and damaged, the alternating stress fatigue strength is not impaired by corrosion or stripes, and assembling can be simplified. |
