<p>The maintenance of a remote inoperative computer, including restarting and software reinstallation, is carried out by remote control without dispatching a maintenance worker. A maintenance system comprises a remote maintenance device connected with a communication line and serial communications means of a remote computer and locating between input means and display means to be connected directly with the remote computer; and a host maintenance device connected with the communication line and adapted to monitor the screen of the display means and operate the input means remotely through the telecommunication line.</p> |
