PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to request maintenance service from a vehicle to a base station even in steady use state such that no abnormality occurs in the vehicle. SOLUTION: When a mileage or cumulative application time reaches a previously set value, a vehicle device 1 reads out maintenance information including the identification(ID) code of a vehicle recorded in a memory means, starts a mobile telephone set 3 to connect a telephone line connected to a base station device 2 and transmits the read maintenance information to the device 2 in accordance with a response signal arriving from the device 2. The device 2 can execute appropriate maintenance service by evaluating the contents of the information. Consequently, labor and expenses to be used for maintenance service can be saved and service guality for customers can be improved. |
