METHOD FOR REGISTERING LOCATION OF WIRELESS TERMINAL IN DECT(DIGITAL EUROPEAN CORDLESS TELEPHONE) SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for registering a location of a wireless terminal in a DECT(digital European cordless telephone) system is provided to directly attempt a channel setting to the wireless terminal when the wireless terminal attempts the channel setting by receiving paging data from a wireless base station in which a location is registered and performing a location register to an adjacent wireless base station when the wireless base station is busy. CONSTITUTION: A wireless terminal scans a received signal strength indicator(RSSI) to each wireless base station(210). The wireless terminal performs a location register to a wireless base station having a greatest RSSI value among scanned RSSI value(220). The wireless terminal receives paging data from the location-registered wireless base station(230). The wireless terminal judged as to whether the current location-registered wireless base station is busy according to received paging data(240). The wireless terminal performs the location register to a wireless base station having a secondary greatest RSSI value when the current location-registered wireless base station is busy(250).
