GLASS-CERAMIC GREEN TAPE COMPOSITION FOR LOW TEMPERATURE COFIRED CERAMIC ON METAL(LTCC-M) BASE PLATE

PURPOSE: A glass-ceramic green tape composition for LTCC-M base plate is provided which excludes the print of an enamel layer that is hard to have a uniform thickness as a base plate so that it easily controls a camber and simplifies the preparation process of a metal base. CONSTITUTION: A glass-ceramic green tape composition for LTCC-M base plate contains the following components of: 60-80wt% of a crystallization glass which consists of ZnO-MgO-B2O3-SiO2-Al2O3; 8-20wt% of a partial crystallization glass which consists of CaO-Al2O3-ZnO-B2O3; 3-10wt% of a ceramic charging agent; 0.1-0.5wt% of a coloring agent; a plasticizer; and 2-7wt% of a binding agent. Thereby, the green tape is prepared which directly binds to the metal base after firing with using the partial crystallization glass that is the main component of an enamel paste.
