PURPOSE: A mobile phone terminal having light functions is provided, so that a mobile phone subscriber can use the mobile phone terminal as light by adding the light to the mobile phone terminal. CONSTITUTION: A mobile phone terminal having light functions comprises a keypad(212), light(1), a power supplier(200), a switch(204), and a controller(208). The keypad has keys for inputting light on/off commands of a user. The power supplier supplies power to the light. The switch connects or intercepts a path between the power supplier and the light. The controller makes the switch connect the path, if the light-on command is inputted. If the light-off command is inputted, the controller makes the switch intercept the path. If a call is transmitted/received, the controller makes the switch repeat the connecting/the intercepting processes at certain times.
