PURPOSE: A control method of cooking codes of a microwave oven is provided to be compatible with a microwave oven be in use currently by directly inputting a cooking process recorded in a food via an operation panel by a user and to prevent mis-operation of a microwave oven due to breakage of a card. CONSTITUTION: An input of a code system key of a microwave oven is decided after supplying power. A code system key is input, and then an input of a numerical key corresponding to the code is decided. If a numerical key is input, data indicating the company and sort of a food among numerical keys are read and cooking time corresponding to fourth and third data is set up. Data indicating a method of heating among the numerical key is read. A cooking method corresponding to the second data is read. Data indicating heating cycle among the numerical key are read and heating cycle corresponding to the first data is set up. An input of a starting key is decided to start cooking if the setting of heating cycle of the food is completed. If a starting key is input, the microwave oven is operated by the determined cooking time, heating method, and heating cycle. The control method is completed if cooking is completed.
