PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the user interface function of an application program selection key, etc., by key operation by issuing an event determined by key input information to an application program when an input of specific combination of a key operation is detected. SOLUTION: A keyboard(KB) 11 is used for the input of various data, commands, etc., and composed of specific keys and function keys. An event determination processing part (EV-DET) 13 decides an event to be reported to an operating system(OS) and extracts only an event by predetermined key operation input used for reproduction control over a disk. When an event by combined key operation of a specific key and a function key is extracted by the event determination processing part (EV-DET) 13, an application operation event issuing process control part (PL-CNT) 14 issues an event which is previously made to correspond to the extracted event.
