PRODUCTION OF LARGE SIZE COMPOSITE RELIEF PRINTING PLATE BY LASER ALIGNMENT AND SUCCESSIVELY USING LASER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce superior alignment marks and to enable production of a large-size composite relief printing plate on an issue with substantially higher resolution than well-known resolution by direct image recording from accumulated digital data. SOLUTION: The alignment marks are formed in a support having good dimensional stability. At least one photopolymerizable relief printing plate having a layer which can be removed by IR rays is positioned and fixed on the substrate having good dimensional stability according to the positioning marks. An image mask is printed in the layer which can be removed by the IR rays of the photopolymerizable relief printing plate. The complex is uniformly exposed to chemical rays, and the unexposed part of the photopolymerizable printing plate is cleaned and removed with a developer.
