PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of inserting a suitable electronic watermark to digital data at all times, corresponding to the difference of the kind and capacity of the device by obtaining one of the plural output capacities provided in the device, generating an electronic watermark suitable for the device, inserting it to the digital data and outputting it. SOLUTION: An electronic watermark generation control program and related data are recorded in an external storage medium FD 14. In a recording medium, volume information, directory information, a control program execution file and a control program relating data file are stored. The electronic watermark generation control program and the relating data recorded in the FD 14 can be loaded through an external storage device FD driver 13 to a main computer system. At setting of the FD 14 to the FD drive 13, under the control of an OS and a basic I/O program, the electronic watermark generation control program and the related data for constituting an electronic watermark generation means are read, and operation is made possible. |
