PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device connected to a liquid crystal display device(LCD) via a cable and capable of always accurately grasping the inner state of the LCD and displaying the inner state of the LCD as required. SOLUTION: The control device connected to the LCD via the cable and provided with a function for controlling the LCD is provided with a display device, a means for acquiring data expressing the inner state of the LCD from the LCD and a means for displaying the inner state of the LCD as required on the display device on the basis of the acquired data expressing the inner state of the LCD.
