PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically update a routing table without needing the manual change of the routing table by a network manager and to enable packet transmission using a pseudo address to a node device added to an endpoint node even when a node device is added to the endpoint node of a packet communication network consisting of plural node devices linearly connected by a pseudo subnetwork. SOLUTION: Node devices 10 to 40 are respectively provided with transmission line detecting parts 16 to 46 and set the correspondence relation between the pseudo addresses Z1 and Z2 in the routing tables 15 to 45 of each node device 10 to 40 and routing destination ports based on the existence/absence of connections of transmission lines 51 to 53 detected by the parts 16 to 46.
