PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise the breakdown voltage by setting the length and width of the capacitor body to specified multiples of the depth of the body. SOLUTION: A laminate ceramic capacitor 11 comprises a rectangular parallelepiped-like body 12 specified by the length L, the width W and the depth T and outer electrodes 13, 14 on both ends of the length of the body 12. The body 12 comprises a plurality of dielectric layers 15 laminated, extending parallel to the planes defined by the length L, the width W and the depth T of the body 12 and a plurality of sets of mutually opposed inner electrodes 16 disposed through the dielectric layers 15. The length L and the width W are each 4 times or more as wide as the depth T. Thus, the thickness T of the body 12 can be suppressed small and the sintering property is improved. |
