PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of abnormal sound from a C ring part due to vibration and pulsation of a valve in a rotary valve device sealing sections among a plurality of valves which are in contact continuously by C rings. SOLUTION: This device is constituted in such a way that a valve hole 5 is formed by passing through a plurality of passages 21 to 26 arranged in parallel in the direction of crossing, a rotary valve 6 formed by connecting a plurality of valves 7 opening and closing each passage 21 to 26 in series is rotatably fitted in this valve hole 5, and C rings are provided among an inner peripheral face of the valve hole 5 between adjacent passages and rotary shaft parts 32 to 37 formed in the rotary valve 6 so as to fit in the inner peripheral face. An O ring is fitted in the rotary shaft part in close proximity to the C ring to reduce an amount of oscillation of the rotary valve 6 when vibration occurs by the O ring and prevent the occurrence of abnormal sound due to the collision of the C ring with its ring groove.
